Cross-country skiing

Cross-country skiing is a gentle way of experiencing the full beauty of the mountain environment.

Samoëns has 2 sites at 2 different altitudes guaranteeing good snow conditions ....

The Giffre valley site, running along the river of the same name, has 46 km of pistes from Samoëns to Sixt-Fer-a-Cheval.

The Joux Plane site has 30 km of pistes at an altitude of 1700 m overlooking the Mont Blanc valley, guaranteeing skiing from December to April.

Snow shoeing

The advantage of snowshoeing is to go off  marked trails easily so as to be in the heart of the mountains.  Make tracks in fresh snow, enjoy the atmosphere of being in a group and explore the mountains.  The mountain guides offer a whole variety of treks.
